Plant cells are found in plants while animal cells are found in animals.

Animal cells do not have a cell wall while Plant cells do.

Plant cells have chloroplasts, leucoplasts and chromoplasts while animal cells do not have these.

Plant cell:
• A plant cell is made up of a definite cell wall which is made up of cellulose.
• Centrosomes are not present in a plant cell.
• Plant cells have large vacuoles and contain plastids.

Animal cell:
• An animal cell doesn't have a cell wall.
• Animal cell has centrosomes.
• Animal cells do have vacuoles but are very small and temporary. They don't contain plastids.
