With the help of an activity, explain how you can prove that light is necessary for photosynthesis.

ok! take two plants in pots put one in proper place in direct sunlight as well as provide all other necessary things.
and put another plant at a place far from sunlight and other material.
observe your plants carefully.
after some time there will be some interesting change in the plant. the first will grow as per the need but the second will not grow it's leave may get black or in other word the plant will die.
hence all the above observation shows that plants need sunlight for there growth since it provide them energy to work after the completion of photosynthesis.
