Answer:

If a solid object has an irregular shape, a stone, for example, its volume can be measured in two ways. One is by using a measuring cylinder, and the other one is by using an overflow jar.

Measurement of volume of irregular solid bodies both heavier and lighter than water including those soluble in water, by displacement of water or other liquids in a measuring cylinder.

a body is said to be in motion when it changes its position with time with respect to any refrence point. object which are in motion either move fast or slow

for calculating the speed of a object

speed=distance covered/time taken or v=s/t

for example

a cyclist covers 140km in 7hours express the speed of the cyclist in km/hr.

speed(v)=distance/time=140km/7h

=20km h-1

i hope this help you
