Answer :

Respiration is the most important biochemical reaction which releases energy in the cell. When we breathe in air, oxygen enters our lungs. It binds itself to haemoglobin present in red cells and is carried to millions of cells present in our body. Respiration occurs in these cells and is accompanied by the combustion of glucose that produces carbon dioxide and water and releases energy in the form of ATP.

Balanced Chemical Equation :

C6H12O6(s) + 6O2(g) ---------> 6CO2(g) + 6H2O(l) + Energy.

Answer:

Explanation:during digestion food is broken down into simpler substances. THE FOOD WE EAT LIKE FISH,RICE,BREAD CONTAINS CARBOHYDRATES. THESES CARBOHYDRATES ARE BROKEN DOWN INTO GLUCOSE AND THEN THESE GLUCOSE ARE COMBINED WITH THE OXYGEN IN THE CELL OF OUR BODY.SO RESPIRATION IS A EXOTHERMIC REACTION.
