the ammonium chloride can be separated from the mixture of ammonium chloride and salt by the process of sublimation ,it is the process where the solid directly convert to gas ( or vise varsa ) without coming in liquid state ,when we will apply this process to the mixture of ammonium chloride and salt , then ammonium chloride will directly change to gas and will get solidified on the walls of the funnel as it is the sublime whereas , the salt will not sublimate ,and it will remain in china dish , where the mixture of ammonium chloride and salt is kept
