With the help of diagram, explain the process through which Amoeba obtain their nutrition.

Amoeba envelops its food through the process of endocytosis or phagocytosis, where pseudopodia is created by flexibility of the plasma membrane. The pseudopodia is the temporary arm-like projection in amoeba that helps collect the nutrition, alter its size and shape and acts as an organ of locomotion.
