Hey dear here is your answer

Al2O3 are amphoteric oxides as they react with both acids and bases. It means , it possesses both acidic and basic properties.

Al2O3 + 6HCl ----------> 2AlCl3 + 3H2  (reaction with acid)

Al2O3 + 2NaOH → 2NaAlO2 + H2O  (reaction with base)

A few metallic oxide and hydroxide exhibit dual character i.e.,they show acidic as well as basic character .equation is
Al2o3+2NaOH_2NaAlO2+H2O
Al2o3+2KOH-2KaAlO2+H2O
