Hi there!
◆Acquired traits are those which are developed in an organism during its lifetime. No changes are incurred in the germ cell of the organism.
◆ Thus, when the organism reproduces, its offspring will not inherit the acquired traits of its parent's lifetime.
◆ Eg: If a person is a wrestler with a well built body, it is not necessary that his child also has the skill to wrestle or have a muscular, well built body. But if both the parents of a child have a light skin colour, the child has a lot of chances to have a light skin colour. This is because the skill for wrestling is an acquired trait but a light skin colour is an inherited trait.
