Cells have different shapes and sizes because of their functions.
•The nerve cells have an elongated shape and branching so that they reach every part of the body.
•Some cells like WBC do not have any fixed shape. Their shape keeps on continuously changing so that they can kill the foreign particles present in the body.
•Muscle cells are spindle-shaped as it helps them to align properly over one another and also it make easy for them to contract and relax while the movement of the body parts.
