Answer:DIFFUSION OF GASES IN WATER IS ESSENTIAL BECAUSE WITHOUT DIFFUSION OXYGEN WON'T BE THERE IN THE WATER AND SURVIVAL OF AQUATIC ANIMALS WON'T BE POSSIBLE. IT ALSO ALLOWS SOME BENEFICIAL GASES TO BE DISSOLVED AND ADDED IN WATER AS MINERALS.
