For this,you have to take a solid substance, a liquid substance and and for gas it's just air.
We can take a chalk as a solid substance.
Now try to compress it .it was hard to do.
Now take water in a bucket and try to compress it with a lid.it was more easier to compress it than the chalk.
Now take an empty bucket and compress it with a lid. It the easiest to compress.
This proves that a solid is hardest to compress. A liquid is more easier than the solid. And a gaseous thing is the easiest to compress.
