TROPIC MOVEMENT-
In this type of movement, the plant responds to stimulus.
Examples: Geotropism, Phototropism.
When the plant grows toward the gravity like the roots of plants is known as Geotropism. And if the plant shows it response towards light, it is called phototropism.
NASTIC MOVEMENT-
Here the plant does not respond to any kind of stimulus. The best example of this type of movement is folding of the leaves of 'Touch me not'.
