with the help of one example for each, distinguish between the acquired traits and the inherited traits. why are the traits/experiences acquired during the entire lifetime of an individual not inherited in the next generation ? explain the reason of this fact with an example. ​

The physical appearance such as the eye color hair color and height etc are the inherited traits. These are passed on by the parents to the off spring

While the features or characteristics that are learnt or copied by observing someone are the acquired traits such as clothing style, speaking style

Acquired traits are learned by the experiences and learning experiences in life. It involves changes in non-reproductive tissues which cannot be passed on to the germ cells. For example acting and a mark of an accident. 

 

Inherited traits are the ones which are acquired by the ancestors. They are transferred through DNA and the progeny. For example; height, eye color or skin.
