1. parallelogram = it is a quadrilateral

= opposite sides are parallel to each other

=some of adjacent angles are 180°

=opposite sides and angles are equal

2. Rectangle= it is also a quadrilateral

=opposite sides are equal

= each angle is right angle

=diagonals bisect each other

3. Rhombus = all the sides are equal

=opposite angles are equal

= diagonals bisect each other at right angle

4. Square= all the sides are equal

= all the angles are of 90°

= diagonal bisect each other at right angle

Note : a square is rectangle but a rectangle is not square
