1. legislature: it makes laws for the citizens
2. executive: it implements the laws.
3. judiciary: it ensures that no rights are violated and if anyone's rights are violated, he can approach the court and fight against it.

all these organs are placed at the same level and hence they are the horizontal system of power sharing.

all of them can check each other's work.
