With the help of 't' test find whether significant difference exists in the scores obtained by the two groups of students on achievement motivation.GroupA:34,45,44,34,56,54,34,45,67,54 & GroupB:13,15,14,16,15,12,12,15,23,17

GroupA: 34,45,44,34,56,54,34,45,67,54

n = 10

Sum = 34 + 45 + 44 + 34 + 56 + 54 + 34 + 45 + 67 + 54 = 467

Mean = 467/10 = 46.7

S₁ = 11.07  Standard deviation

S₁² = 122.46 (sample variance)

GroupB: 13,15,14,16,15,12,12,15,23,17

Sum = 13 + 15 + 14 + 16 + 15 + 12 +12 + 15 + 23 + 17 = 152

Mean = 152/10 = 15.2

S₂ = 3.19  Standard deviation

S₂² = 10.18  (sample variance)

t value =  (mean 1 - mean2)/(Sp (√(2/n))

n = 10

mean 1 = 46.7

Mean 2= 15.2

Sp = Polled sample variance = √((S₁² + S₂²)/2)

Sp = √((122.46 + 10.18)/2 ) = √66.32 = 8.14

t = (46.7 - 15.2) / (8.14 * (√2/10))

t = 31.5/3.64

t = 8.65

Answer:

It includes the study where it could carry out null hypothesis to find out the “t” test value.

In which, it is randomly selected groups are observed and the results are rising with the results.

A null hypothesis can only be rejected at the 5% significance level if and only if 34.6. 18. 17. 22. 63. Med-High. 13. 16. 11. 16. 56. High. 8. 14. 15. 9. 46.
