- Mother India is a birth place of many great sons. They glorified their country by their novel activities and Subhas Chandra Bose was one of them. He is the ideal of Indian patriots.
- This great man was born on January 23 at Cuttack in Orissa. His father Janakinath Bose was a foremost lawyer and his mother Pravabati Devi was a pious lady.
- A brilliant student Subhas Chandra passed B.A examination from Scottish Church College. He became an I.C.S. but refused to serve the British Raj.
- He joined the National Movement for freedom. He established Indian National Army and it was Ajad Hind Fauz. For his great power of leadership he is called 'Netaj'. He suffered imprisonment as he was threat to the British Government. During the Second World War he secretly left India and went to Germany and Japan.
- On August 18 in 1945 he was reported to have died in plane crash. But the circumstances of his death are still a mystery. He is no more with us but he will always live in hearts of millions of Indians.
