Answer:

To find the efficiency of a carnot engine we have to use the formulae

= 1 - T2/T1=W/Q1=W/(W+Q2).

Where W is the work done by the carnot engine.

Where T1 is the temperature of source=(327+273)=600 K .

And, T2 is the temperature of sink=(27+273)=300 K.

Hence, by putting the values of T1 and T2 in the equation of efficiency we get.

Efficiency= 1–300/600=1/2.
