With the increasing population in Indian cities, the transport infrastructure fails to meet the
requirements of the ever-growing commuters. An inadequate public transport system has led to
an increase in the number of vehicles on the roads.
Choked roads, due to the heavy traffic have added to the woes of commuters. Attending to
traffic concerns is essential as valuable time and energy is wasted in jams. Increase in traffic
has led to an increase in the number of road accidents. Moreover, extended travel time and
unpredictable traffic jams lead to frayed tempers. Cases of road rage are on the rise.
As a first step to eliminate this problem, commuters should be encouraged to use carpool
whenever possible. Safe, stable, efficient and professional mass public transport systems
should be provided to discourage use of private vehicles. Building flyovers to case bottlenecks
and speed up traffic would also help in clearing traffic snarls.

Answer:
) How will you clear the traffic if you become a Mayor?
I will answer this question The first thing I would do if I was enough to run for mayor and was elected is a lot of homework about what I can and can’t do as a mayor. Mayors don’t have the power to do as much as many people think. They usually don’t, but not always, vote on anything unless there is a tie.
They have the “power” to conduct a meeting, put items on the agenda, and sign proclamations, resolutions, and ordinances
So, the thing I would do differently is put my ego on a shelf before I entered council chambers.
