With which metal the filament of the bulb is made up of and why ?

Filament of bulb is mde up of tungsten. Because it is an alloy.Alloys do not oxidise OR burn easily compared to metals like copper.Hence the filament will not get burnt up quickly and we dont have to keep changing it frequently.
