*The trucial states were Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Al Fujayrah, Dubai, Sharjah, and Umm al Qaywayn along with seventh sheikhdom, Ras al Khaymah, formed the UAE and all of them agreed on a federal constitution  which was for achieving independence as the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

* In1976 the government was also centralised .The federal government was given the power to exercise it's control over defence, intelligence services, immigration, public security, and border control
