One of the 3 golden rules to double entry system of accounting is “Debit what comes in, credit what goes out”.

Following the above rule, the journal entry for withdrawing of cash from bank shall be:-

Cash A/c Dr.

Bank A/c Cr.

The above entry shall have no effect on Cash and Cash Equivalents balance in the financial statements.
