Within a population of Foxes, there is enough space and water for 20 individuals in a forest. However, as a consequence of the decrease of Rabbit population, only 15 individual Foxes has been existed finally. Hence, the carrying capacity of the forest environment in case of the Fox population is 15. So in that forest environment, lack of available food (rabbits) for the foxes population is called:
founder factor
climatic factor
limiting factor
temporal factor.

If a new predator moved into the region, it would predate on rabbits and result in decreased rabbit population. This would cause a change in the dynamics of the forest. With a new predator in the forest, there would competition with existing predators.

or the fox population to increase there must be an increase in their food supply. If all other populations remain stable, then this increase must be in the form of rabbits.
