Within a rectangular garden 10 m wide and 20 m long, we wish to pave a walk around the borders of uniform width so as to leave an area of 96m2 for flowers. how wide should the walk be?

(20+x)(10+x)-20×10=96
200+20x+10x+x^2-200=96
x^2+30x-96=0
....... can't calculate further ..is the question us write ?
