= 3*3/ 5*5

= 3*3*2*2 / 5*5*2*2

= 36/ 100

= 0.36

It is terminating decimal expansion as it have 10 as denominator.

(ii) 7/12

= 7/ 3*2*2

It is non terminating decimal expansion as it have no factor of 10.
