see, for this you want to know that if the factors of denominator of any number are 2 and 5 both, then it has a

terminating decimal expansion but the factors are more (any other no.) or only 2 or 5 then it has a non terminating decimal expansion, in this case,

3/25=3/5*5 ,

denominator only have 5, so it is a non terminating decimal expansion
