Hey mate!

here is your answer :

 \frac{35}{14}  =  \frac{35}{2 \times 7}

Since the denominator is not in the form of 2^n×5^m , it is a non terminating repeating decimal.

hope it helped^_^

Answer:

First we should check whether the denominator is in the form of 2^m × 5^n. If the denominator i.e 14 is in this form then the fraction will be terminating.

Now,

35/14 = 35 / 2×7

= 5/2

We can also write it as 5/2×5^0

So the denominator is in the form of 2^m × 5^n

Yes 35/14 is terminating
