last no. =a + (n-1)d

49 = 1 + (n-1)2

49 = 1+ 2n -2

49 = 2n-1

2n = 50

n = 25

so....

sum (by the formula )

= n/2 [2a + (n-1)d]

= 25/2 [2 + 48]

=25/2*50

= 625
