without division show after how many places of decimal expansions of 51/150 will terminate..

 =  \frac{51}{150}  \\  =   \frac{17}{50}   \\  =  \frac{17}{5 \times 5 \times 2}  \\  =  \frac{17}{ {5}^{2}  \times 2}  \\  =  \frac{17}{ {5}^{2} \times 2 }  \times  \frac{2}{2}  \\  =  \frac{34}{ {5}^{2}  \times  {2}^{2} }  \\  =  \frac{34}{ {10}^{2} }  \\  =  \frac{34}{100}  \\  = 0.34
hence, 51/150 will terminate after 2 places of decimal.
