Solution :-

Checking all given options we get,

A) 3402 : 4

Divisibility rule of 4 :- if last two digits are divisible by 4, the given number is also divisible by 4 .

checking ,

→ 3402 = Last two digits are 02 .

→ 02 ÷ 4 = Remainder 2 .

Since remainder is not equal to zero . Therefore, 3402 is not divisible by 4.

B) 7218 : 8

Divisibility rule of 8 :- if last three digits are divisible by 8, the given number is also divisible by 8 .

checking ,

→ 7218 = Last three digits are 218 .

→ 218 ÷ 8 = Remainder 2 .

Since remainder is not equal to zero . Therefore, 7218 is not divisible by 8.

C) 9632 : 11

Divisibility rule of 11 :- If difference between sum of even places digits and odd place digits is equal to 0 or multiple of 11 , the given number is divisible by 11 .

checking,

→ 9632

→ (9 + 3) - (6 + 2)

→ 12 - 8

→ 4

since difference is not equal to 0 or multiple of 11 , the given number is not divisible by 11 .

D) 5808 : 12

Divisibility rule of 12 :- if last two digits are divisible by 4 and sum of all digits is divisible by 3 , the given number is divisible by 12 .

checking,

→ 5808 = Last two digits 08

→ 08 ÷ 4 = Remainder 0

and,

→ (5 + 8 + 0 + 8) ÷ 3

→ 21 ÷ 3 = Remainder 0

Since the given number is divisible by 3 and 4 both . Therefore, the given number is divisible by 12 .

Hence, Option (D) 5808 : 12 is correct answer .
