We can find the area od 5 rs coin with help of centimeter graph paper.

Place the coin one the centimeter graph paper and with help of sharp pencil mark the outline of the coin on the paper. Now count the number of complete squares enclosed in the outline of the coin.

Tick mark the incomplete squares which are are enclosed and count them. Assume that area of one incomplete square is 1/2.

SO total area of coin = number of complete squares enclosed + (number of incomplete squares) x 1/2 cm2 .
