Without using Pythagoras theorem show that (12,8),(-2,6) and (6,0) are the vertices of right angled triangle.

Explanation:

A(12,8) B(-2,6) C(6,0)

AB slope = -2/-14=1/7

BC slope = -6/8= -3/4

AC slope = -8/-6= 4/3

now Product of slopes AC and BC is -1

which shows that AC and BC will be base and altitude and AB will be hypotenuse
