Many people (especially obviously women/girls) may disagree, but in reality, this whole woman empowerment thing is a hoax. The world should have stopped at women's equality, but it has driven forward to empowerment, which has ultimately led to the situation which we have now. Don't know about elsewhere, the situation in India now is such that if a woman smacks a man then it is a spectacle enjoyed and laughed upon by the crowd but if a man touches, let alone smack a woman for reasonable reasons, then it would result in the man being beaten up by the same crowd. There are seats reserved for women on buses; don't know why; there are more job opportunities for them (like special women's sports or women's titles in sports); don't know why; and maybe 5 years from now on, in our country a woman's vote would have the value of 10 men's vote.

And still, women claim to be equal to men, but the reality is that they are given more opportunities and actually they somewhat consider themselves the superior human beings. Why so much energy has to be wasted for such a wasteful effort as women empowerment, I ask you.

I tell you, the people behind women empowerment are either politicians (for money/fame), nazi women, and jealous and /or nerdy singles (haha I'm a single kitty too).
