wood and iron both are solid so while heating them Iron melts and Wood burns Why????????????​

Answer:

When we heat wood the wood starts burning because wood contains fibres which catches fire whereas iron has molecules/ atoms and moreover there is huge difference in their structures due to which the wood burns and iron melts.
