Woods are used as fuel substances but it takes a long time to catch fire because the burning point of the wood is slightly higher than the other fuel materials.

That's why we use straw or burning paper as a burning agent for the woods.

Straw and burning paper easily catches the fire and instantly raises the temperature to the burning point of the wood.
