Wool is a bad conductor of heat but this cannot explain why wool keeps us so warm. what other factors contributes to this?

wool keeps us so warm, because beneath the wool there is air stored and air is also bad conductor of heat. so, it heat allow heat to escape.therefore we so warm..

wool is an bad conductor but it keeps us warm , because it traps large amount of air between its fibres , the wool itself not the insulator , but the air is . Hope it helps you
