Solution of 1st question......

Let the lowest marks be x

Given that,

Highest marks = twice the lower marks +7

Highest marks = 2x+7

Also,

Highest marks =87

Solution of 2nd question.......

Let no. be x.

100−(2x+36)=4

100−2x−36=4
