Words Are More Harmful Than Weapons

It is a true statement that words are more harmful than weapons. If we go into the depth of its meaning, we will realize that bitter words full of animosity and hatred provoke people to use weapons.

All wars, conflicts, and agitations are caused by words. Words have the power to evoke emotions in us. Unwise, cruel, unthoughtful words evoke anger and aggression among those who hear them, leading to reckless actions.

On the other hand polite words evoke pleasant emotions of love and understanding among the listeners.

Keeping in mind the power of the words, one should use one’s words very wisely and prudently. Bitter and caustic words should be avoided at any cost. One should try to use sweet, polite and amiable words.

Since bitter words cause all conflicts and wars, they should be discarded from our conversation and communication.
