work =0 and displacement takes place.... please explain it... very urgent


Lukas: displacement is the act of moving something from its place or you can say that the change of position is known as displacement. so if an object moves from Point A to point B and returns to point A then displacement is zero and work done is also zero.

It means that angle between the force and displacement is 90 degree.
ie. Cos90 degree =0
