Work and energy have same units. Why is it so? (please do not see from google. i have already seen there and it is not related to this)

This is simply the change in kinetic energy of the object. Hence as energy is conserved we can now see that the work done on the object is equivalent to the energy supplied to the object. Therefore work is a type of energy, and so it is measured in the same units, Joules.
