HELLO DEAR,

the man is holding the suitcase at the same height above the surface of earth. So the gravitation potential energy remains the same.

workdone is force * displacement = weight * 0 = 0 OR 20 * 0 = 0

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS

Dear Student:

Work = F.dS

Where F is force

And dS is displacement.

Here, Force exerted by passenger on suitcase=mg

Where, m is the mass of the suitcase.

And g=10m/s^{2} ( acceleration due to gravity)

So, f= 20*10=200 N

But no displacement of suitcase in upward direction.

Hence, dS=0

So, work done is zero.
