Work done by frictional force are walking, standing, changing directions, rolling, sliding, skating, etc....,. There are two types of friction are as follows :- (i) Rolling friction.
(ii) Sliding friction.

Work done by the frictional force is always Negative..
It is because the frictional force always acts in the opposite direction to the motion...
So angle between the displacement and the Force(Frictional force) become 180...
So
W=F.s.cos 180
W=-F.s
⇒Points To Be Noted
- Work done is dot product of the force and displacement.
- The value of cos 180 is -1
- Frictional force always act in the opposite direction to the Motion...
