satyanshsingh468: your ans is right
satyanshsingh468: because w=fdcoso
satyanshsingh468: coso=90
satyanshsingh468: therefore work is zero

HELLO DEAR USER!

___________________
Work done in a closed path is zero because in closed path initial and final pointsbare same

So

Displacement is shortest possible distance between two points

As final and initial points are same in closed path so displacement is zero

Work is given by

W= Fd

d= 0

W= F × 0

W = 0

So work done by gravitational force in a closed path is zero
