Sunita had just returned from school hot and agitated. She had just been a victim of eve teasing. Her father was reading a newspaper when she barged in. Seeing her father she started a conversation with him to convince him to let her join the Karate classes.

Sunita (S): Father, I need to talk to you.

Father (F) : Cool down. You have just come. Freshen up and then we can speak.

S: No Father, I need to speak to you right now.

F: Okay. Have a seat.

S: You have always been against girls joining karate classes.

F: Don't start off again I have told you I will not allow you and the matter is closed.

S: Do you know what happened to me today when I was returning home?

F: What:

S :Two boys started following me with their bikes. The taunted me and tried to catch me. As I ran they caught hold of my plait.

F: Oh my goodness ! Then?

S: A lady police officer luckily passed that way. She caught the boys and through her self-defense training pinned them down and arrested them.

F: Thank God.

S: God has been merciful today but don't you think I could defend myself if I too knew Karate?

F: A point to contemplate.

S: If I know Karate I can defend myself. I will feel confident and brave.

F: Okay. You shall learn Karate.

S: Thank you so much.

F: God bless you.
