Area of a circle = 3.14 X radius X radius
= 3.14 X 4.5 X 4.5 = 63.585 m2
Hope this helps....

Given :

Diameter of the circle = 9 m

To Find :

Area of the circle

Solution :

Area of the circle having radius 'r' = πr²

Given, Diameter of the circle = 9 cm

We know, Radius = \frac{Diameter}{2}

                             = \frac{9}{2}

                             = 4.5 cm

So, Area of the circle = π × (4.5)²

                                   = 3.142 × 20.25

                                   =  63.63 m²

Therefore, the area of the circle having diameter of 9 cm is found to be 63.63 m².
