Work out the area of a rectangle with base, b = 26mm and perimeter, P = 58mm.

58=2l+52

2l= 6

Then area of rectangle = l*b

=3*26

Perimeter = 2(length + breadth)

Length+ breadth = 29

Length+26 = 29

Length = 3

Area = Length× breadth

= 3×26

= 78 square mm
