Hey mate !!!!!!

Here is ur answer......

Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

72=2(l+26)

72=2l+52

2l= 20

=> L = 10 mm

Then area of rectangle = l*b

=10*26

=260mm²

The area of the rectangle is 260 mm².

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A rectangle with base, b = 26 mm and perimeter, P = 72 mm.

To find : The area of a rectangle ?

Solution :

The perimeter of the rectangle is P=2(l+b)

The base b=26 mm and perimeter P=72 mm

Substitute in the formula,

72=2(l+26)

72=2l+52

2l=72-52

2l=20

l=\frac{20}{2}

l=10

The length of the rectangle is 10 mm.

The area of the rectangle is A=l\times b

A=10\times 26

A=260\ mm^2

Therefore, the area of the rectangle is 260 mm².
