Therefore the length of AB

$= \sqrt{ {(3 - - 1)}^{2} + {(5 - 6)}^{2} } \\ = \sqrt{ {4}^{2} + ( - 1) ^{2} } \\ = \sqrt{16 + 1} \\ = \sqrt{17} \\ = 4.12 \: units$

Therefore, the length of AB= 4.12 units
