12 – 3[5 + 3{(7 – 9) – 2}]

= 12 - 3[5+3{-2-2}]

= 12 - 3[5 + 3 ×(-4)]

= 12 - 3[5 + (-12)]

= 12 - 3 × (-7)

= 12 - (-21)

= 12 + 21

= 33.
