A's one hour work = 1/8.

B's one hour work = 1/10.

(A+B)'s one hour work = 1/8+1/10 = 9/40.

Both A & B can finish the work in 40/9 days

Answer:

4hr 4min

4hr 4minStep by step explanation:

Given:-

Time taken by worker A to complete work = 8 hr

Time taken by worker B to complete work = 10 hr

A's 1 hour work = 1/8

B's 1 hour work = 1/10

Therefore total work to be done by (A + B) in 1 hour = 1/8 + 1/10

= 9/40

Hence, time taken by both of them to complete the work = 40/9 hr = 4 hr 4min

hope it helps you
